According to Emmy award winning tv producer Paula Rizzo, “if there were two identical experts, I am going to book the one with the book for media opportunities nine times out of ten.”

Now I have been saying this to people for years. There are so many reasons to write a book, however one of them is for

1. More Opportunities

I cannot tell you how many doors my book has opened for me and I am so grateful. I went from a regular joe blow to now being able to book media opportunities because I now have something worthy of talking about that is also tangible. Your story is one thing, however having people being able to read it on their own is an entirely different experience than just hearing about it. Also, if you have a great story people will often ask you, “soooo, when’s the book coming?”

Yes you probably get that all of the time! Right?!??

2. Also a book helps with word of mouth.

Not only will people spread the word and talk about it to their family, friends, and associates. They will also pass along the book! Yes! A win win! You never know whose hands your book could end up in.

So if you have been racking your brain trying to figure out if it’s the right time to write your book or not, or if you need more insight in why you should get started.
